Parent Invitation

Greetings mom and dad!
Now that you have been able to look through my powerpoint and you have seen the many accomplishments that I was able to fulfill, I am now inviting you to assess me in my portfolio work. Your constructive criticisms are important and will help me to try to make my portfolio better. I hope you enjoyed my portfolio. To conclude this conference now, I need you to answer the following questions thoughtfully and honestly. Please do not rush. Aside from that, thank you. :)

1. What did you like best about my portfolio conference? What would you like to see me improve on in my portfolio?
2. From your point of view, which of my attainments of the 4 traits of writing is of most value? Please explain why you feel it is important and what about my documentation of it impresses you.
3. Which of the traits of writing would you like me to focus on in the coming semester?

*You can leave your answers to these questions by clicking the comment link below. After you have finished, make sure to click on the 'publish comment' button. However, there is a verification code that you will need to type in before you completely post your comment on my blog.

THANK YOU!!

  1. 1) It was beautiful and well organized overall. I don't know anything that you need to improve.

2)Each of the 4 traits have a vital role in writing. So, I can not single out any of these traits. You need it to make a good essay. Your documentation is very very good. I liked how you colored the parts of your essay and had a small comment box on the side as your explanation. It's effective. I can see how you improved in your writing because of the drafts that you putted up. I like it.

    3) I would like you to focus on 'word choice.' I can see that you have a difficult time. I want to see a 4 in the coming semester and not a 3/2. It doesn't look nice on the rubric. So, overall, I could see many of your achievements and the goals you want to fulfill in the coming semester. You will do good, just work on your 'word choice.'

    Good job!
